Effective: September 8, 2026 · Last reviewed: September 8, 2026 · Version 1.0Before meeting
- Confirm identity and the animal's ownership and health records independently.
- Meet in a public, appropriate place and tell someone where you are going.
- Do not send deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or unexpected fees.
- Stop when someone pressures you to leave Petiosa immediately or avoid verification.
Location and privacy
Share only the location detail needed for the feature. Avoid publishing a home address or routine. Pet privacy controls apply to normal visibility; adoption and lost-and-found features may intentionally show broader discovery information described in their interfaces.
Messages and reports
Keep early conversations in Petiosa, preserve relevant evidence, block unwanted contact, and report the exact profile or content. Private reports are handled through moderation controls, not public accusations.
Badges and professionals
A badge indicates that specified information passed a verification process at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of service quality, licensing status in every location, or a particular outcome.
Emergency help
Petiosa does not provide emergency, veterinary, rescue, or law-enforcement response. Contact local emergency services, a veterinarian, animal-welfare authority, or police when there is immediate risk.
Rules
Read the Community Guidelines for prohibited conduct and enforcement.
