Effective date: September 2, 2026 · Last reviewed: September 2, 2026
Operator and release status
Petiosa is a pre-launch service planned to be operated by ARQDEV in Prague, Czech Republic. ARQDEV has not yet been incorporated. Petiosa is planned to be operated by ARQDEV from Prague, Czech Republic. These terms describe the intended service and apply to use of the public website and, once released, the mobile application. Mandatory consumer rights in a user's country are not excluded.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding agreement, and provide accurate information. You are responsible for account security and activity. Do not share passwords or verification codes.
Petiosa's role
Petiosa provides discovery, communication, social, community, adoption, lost-and-found, event, and professional-service tools. Petiosa is not the owner, seller, adopter, veterinarian, shelter, emergency service, or contracting party between users. Users must independently verify identity, ownership, health, suitability, licensing, and safety.
Free adoption and no animal sales
Petiosa adoption surfaces are for responsible, free rehoming. Listing an animal for sale, adding a sale price, disguising a sale as adoption, brokering animal sales, or using Petiosa to conduct illegal animal trade is prohibited. Necessary third-party costs are not endorsed or collected by Petiosa and may be reviewed for abuse.
User content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Petiosa a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, reproduce, and distribute content only as needed to operate and improve the service, enforce safety, and meet legal obligations. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload content.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, sexual abuse, animal cruelty, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware, or illegal activity.
- Publishing private information without authority or attempting to access another person's account or data.
- Misleading adoption, health, breed, identity, professional, verification, or ownership claims.
- Scraping, automated enumeration, circumventing limits, or interfering with service security.
Professionals and breeders
Professional status and verification do not guarantee quality, legality, health outcomes, or suitability. Professionals must keep credentials accurate and follow applicable licensing and animal-welfare rules. Breeder status does not grant permission to sell animals on Petiosa.
Subscriptions and stores
Where paid plans are offered, iOS purchases are processed by Apple, Android purchases by Google Play, and eligible professional web purchases may be processed by Stripe. Price, renewal, trial, cancellation, tax, and refund information is shown by the applicable provider before purchase. Entitlements activate only after provider verification. Deleting a Petiosa account does not by itself cancel a store subscription; users must manage it with the relevant provider.
Moderation and termination
Petiosa may investigate reports, limit reach, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access for safety, legal, security, or policy reasons. Where appropriate, users will be told the reason and available appeal route. Immediate action may be taken to prevent harm.
Account deletion and retained records
Users may delete an account in the app or through the web deletion flow. Personal data is deleted or de-identified where permitted. Limited billing, fraud, dispute, security, audit, or legal records may be retained when necessary.
Service availability and liability
Petiosa is provided with reasonable care but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, user statements, adoption outcomes, professional services, or emergency response. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or statutory remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Final liability caps, governing-law, dispute, and operator clauses require the verified operator and launch jurisdiction before public app-store release.
